The Emily Dickinson Journal

The Emily Dickinson Journal welcomes submissions on all aspects of Dickinson and her work. Most manuscripts accepted for publication by the Journal are article-length, twenty to thirty typescript pagse, but on occasion we do publish shorter or longer pieces. We do not publish poetry or unsolicited book reviews.

Manuscripts should be prepared according to current MLA style, with bibiographic information cited by textual or parenthetical reference to a complete list of Works Cited. The one exception is reference to standard editions of Dickinson's poems and letters. For examples of how to format such references, see the articles in the current issue or any recent issue.

Manuscripts should be sent electronically only as an email attachment to ccmiller@buffalo.edu and simultaneously to ubedj@buffalo.edu. Please use MS Word's (.doc) format or Rich Text format (.rtf). A paper copy is not required.
